Chew Toys
Teething is painful, and providing chew toys helps alleviate the pain. Keep items that are potentially more painful out of reach. Replace the item immediately with one of the dog’s own chew toys. If your puppy seems to be suffering a lot from teething, a frozen washcloth to chew on can give him some relief.
Choose one phrase to use every time you want your dog to do his business. Every time you take him outside, tell him “go potty,” (use whatever phrase you have chosen) and this will help him learn to focus and remember what he has gone outside to do.
Have a treat prepared for rewarding your dog when they follow a command properly. It is important for the dog to realize when he exhibits the proper behavior in response to your commands. Doing so makes your dog learn what he can and can’t do.
